What to bring

  • sunscreen

  • small towel & washcloth

  • minimum toiletries

  • good hiking shoes (for walking, canoeing, biking - can be tennis shoes)

  • 2nd pair of shoes (same as above - this is a dry back-up pair)

  • pair of water shoes for river (can be old tennis shoes, crocs, etc.)

  • enough clothes for 3-4 changes (see webiste for clothes suggestions)

  • lightweight rain jacket

  • a lightweight fleece, sweatshirt, or hoodie

  • swim wear

What NOT to bring

  • cellphones, electronic devices

  • alchohol, drugs, tobacco

  • pets

  • weapons, fireworks

  • bad attitudes
